The rising sea-level and average global temperature due to climate change are threatening the quality of water that is essential to ecosystems across the globe. This kit provides hands-on materials and ideas to collect and share information on the pH, electrical conductivity, and temperature of nearby rivers, ponds, and tap water to help scientists understand how climate change and water quality are linked.
1 distilled water wash bottle (500ml) + 1 empty water bottle with cap (500ml) ; 1 pack of pH paper (100 strips) ; 3 glass vials with cap (8 Dram) ; 1 HANNA DiST TDS meter ($145.00) ; 1 mini GPS location finder ($40.00) + 1 USB charging cable ($5.00) ; 1 instructions packet ($10.00) ; 1 sharpie pen ($5.00) ; 1 eraser ($5.00) ; 1 pair of gloves (to dispose after use).

Kit must be returned to the Circulation Desk at any Pasadena Public Library branch. Kits must include all items listed in record. Do not place kit inside bookdrop. Fines will be incurred for lost/damaged items.
